Well-being Assistant

Overview

To help managers lead wellbeing and people‑management conversations with greater confidence and consistency, we are introducing the Wellbeing Assistant, available within the Manager Edge Assistant (MEA) on Neo.

Added value

The Wellbeing Assistant within MEA helps managers:

  • Handle sensitive wellbeing conversations with clear, practical guidance.
  • Take targeted actions aligned to real team situations, reducing pressure, and strengthening psychological safety.
  • Save time by accessing trusted insights and practices in one place.
  • Spot early wellbeing risks and act before issues escalate.

Overall, it enables managers to spend less time searching for answers and more time supporting their teams.

How it works

Managers use the Wellbeing Assistant when they have wellbeing‑related concerns, such as signs of stress, workload pressure, or changes in team behavior.

By asking a simple question in MEA, managers receive guidance on how to approach the situation, including conversation prompts, and suggested next steps to help them address the situation early and follow up appropriately. Example prompts include:

  • What support is available to improve work / life balance?
  • How should I approach a wellbeing check in with a team member?

MEA is a GenAI tool that is smart, but not flawless. It brings together relevant data and insights and supports decision‑making but does not replace manager judgment. Managers remain accountable for outcomes and should consult their HRBP when needed, especially in sensitive situations.
